NEW YORK, NY (March 8, 2016) – Following their upcoming “March Madness” tour and three nights of headlining Electric Forest, The String Cheese Incident will celebrate Independence Day by kicking off their summer tour in Asheville, NC where they will play two “Independence Incidents” in Asheville and two in Atlanta, GA followed by dates in Cooperstown, NY, Columbia, MD and Portsmouth, VA. SCI will return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in July for three nights at the famed venue in Morrison, CO, followed by two dates in Missoula, MT, one night in Redmond, WA, two dates in Eugene, OR, a headline slot in Scranton, PA at The Peach Music Festival and finally two nights at the newly reopened historic Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY to conclude the tour.

Tickets are available for the Red Rocks dates now. SCI Fan Club members can purchase tickets for the rest of the tour beginning Wednesday, March 9 at 10:00am PST/ 11:00 MST / 1:00pm EST with the general public on sale Friday, March 11. All tickets can be purchased through the band’s ticketing site: http://stringcheeseincident.com/tour/. The String Cheese Incident are also in the process of recording a new studio album working for a second time with producer Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads. More information will be announced soon. The String Cheese Incident released Song In My Head, their first studio album in nine years in 2014 which was also produced by Harrison. The album included 10 new songs written collaboratively by the group and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.

The String Cheese Incident formed in Crested Butte and Telluride, Colorado in 1993. Over the years, the band, Bill Nershi (guitars and vocals), Michael Kang (mandolin, violin, guitar and vocals), Keith Moseley (bass and vocals), Michael Travis (drums and percussion), Kyle Hollingsworth (keyboards and vocals) and Jason Hann (percussion), has played over 1,500 Incidents, including their own festivals and Incidents across the country and they have been hailed for their commitment to musical creativity and integrity, community spirit, philanthropic endeavors and their innovative approach to the business of music.

Los Angeles, CA – February 12, 2016 – Music legend Brian Wilson has added a slate of new show dates to his upcoming 2016 world tour to celebrate and perform the iconic album Pet Sounds for a final time, in honor of its 50th anniversary. Originally released on May 16, 1966, Pet Sounds is universally hailed as one of the greatest albums of all time. With 65 dates now confirmed, and several previously announced dates selling out in record time, Wilson and his band will be joined by former bandmates Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin when they kick off the tour this Spring.

New dates added include a hometown show in Los Angeles at the famed Hollywood Bowl, Atlanta, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, and several dates throughout Florida; second nights added in Nashville, San Francisco, and Burlington, VT, as well as a third night in London due to overwhelming demand.

Warren Haynes’ 27th Annual Christmas Jam is back to usher in the holiday spirit and rock Asheville, NC’s US Cellular Center on December 12, 2015.  One of the most celebrated and longest-running live concerts in the U.S., the Christmas Jam will once again benefit Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity for the 17th year in a row. The proceeds go toward constructing energy-efficient new houses as well as purchasing and developing land for entire Habitat subdivisions.

The Christmas Jam, which is powered by the generous support of volunteers from all over the country, is steeped in a tradition of surprise collaborations, rare appearances, an array of special guests, and a show so packed with music that the always sold-out crowd heads home just a few hours before sunrise. To mark today, October 5th, as World Habitat Day, the Jam has announced its initial line-up: Warren Haynes, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Doobie Brothers, Joe Bonamassa, Dawes, Blackberry Smoke, Electric Hot Tuna and Bruce Hornsby. The pre-sale including VIP tickets and travel packages begins October 9th at 10am.  The public on-sale begins October 23rd. Doors open at 6pm and the show begins at 7pm. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

**IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to illness and upon the recommendation of her doctors, soprano Angela Brown will not be able to travel this weekend and therefore has to cancel her scheduled appearance with Asheville Symphony. She sends her regrets to the Asheville community and hopes to visit and perform in the near future.

We are pleased to announce that the brilliant violinist Chee-Yun will join the Asheville Symphony for the season-opening concert and will perform some of the most exciting works ever written for violin – Saint-Saens’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, and Satasate’s Zigeunerweisen.  Both are wonderfully melodic and virtuosic “arias” in their own right.
