Presented by the RHS Community Foundation, this benefit concert will raise money for the future Reynolds Community Center in Canton, NC. From the remains of a once segregated high school, the Reynolds Community Center will become a centerpiece for change in the community. The center will offer classes in music, health and wellness, library and computer center, recording studio, organized sports, walking trails and addiction and recovery services.
Co-founder of the RHS Community Foundation and husband to Gladys Knight, William McDowell, bought his old high school as a step towards making his dream of giving back to the place he grew up a reality. Gladys Knight has spent much of her lifetime and career working towards many great causes and supporting charitable organizations. She’s continuing her philanthropic legacy as she works alongside William to make his dream of the Reynolds Community Center come true. The couple will be fully invested in this project from the developmental stage to the community involvement and educational components once the facility is up and running.
