Accessible / Disabled Tickets
Accessible/disabled seating is available at Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville, tickets can be purchased at the venue box office and at Ticketmaster.com. When ordering accessible tickets, it is important to indicate that you require accessible seating so we can properly assist. If you have event specific questions, please reach out to our box office in advance of purchasing tickets.

Elevators
ExploreAsheville.com Arena: Elevator access to the arena floor level is located in the entry way of the main concourse level upon arrival into the venue.
The Thomas Wolfe Auditorium: Does not have elevator access at this time.
Banquet Hall: Elevator access can be found in the Jan Davis Lobby upon arrival into the venue.
Emergency Evacuation Procedures
Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville personnel have been properly trained in emergency evacuation procedures to ensure the safe evacuation of all patrons, including those guests with disabilities, in the case of an emergency.
Restrooms
All restrooms facilities at Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville are accessible.
Service Animals
Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited in Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville with the exception of trained service animals and service animals in training for guests with disabilities. Service animals are welcome inside the venue, but must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. Service animals will rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle. Guests may take their service animal outside of the venue to relieve itself, but must speak with a Guest Services Supervisor prior to leaving the venue. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests and employees may be asked to escort the animal off of the premises.
Sign Language Interpreters
Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville is pleased to provide signed performances for our hearing-impaired guests for select events. Interpretation services are not guaranteed for every event; however, we will make every effort to accommodate each request with appropriate advance notice, at least two (2) weeks prior to the event. Wheelchairs
Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville provides complimentary wheelchair escorts to guests with special needs when requested. Escorts are available at any entry point or guests upon arrival at our venue. Upon entering, please request this service from an usher or onsite medic. Please be aware that our staff will not remain with you during the event, nor will they allow you to remain in our wheelchair for the duration of the event.
Wheelchair & Accessibility Seating
Accessible/disabled seating is available on each of the arena and the orchestra level of the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium. Accessible seating is reserved exclusively for guests with accessible needs and their companions. Guests purchasing accessible seating may purchase one (1) accessible seat and three (3) companion seats adjacent to the accessible seat. Depending upon availability, seats for additional guests will be located as close as possible to the accessible space. This policy ensures that we are able to accommodate all those that need accessible seating.
To request accessible seating on the day of the event, please speak with an usher or onsite medical team once inside the building. Please keep in mind that this type of relocation is only available on the day of the event, is subject to availability, and is issued on a first come first serve basis.
